We fully understand the importance of user information to you. Your trust is extremely important to us. We will strictly comply with legal and regulatory requirements and take appropriate security protection measures to ensure the security and privacy of user information.
LVXLAW is a LegalTech company, not a law firm, and does not provide individual legal advice or legal representation before courts. Its role is limited to offering general legal information and connecting users with independent, licensed attorneys.
[FULL LEGAL ENTITY NAME] is the personal information processor/controller for the processing described in this Policy. Address: [ADDRESS]. Privacy contact / data-rights contact: info@lvxlaw.com. If a dedicated privacy mailbox or China representative is required for the relevant activity, identify it here: [DEDICATED PRIVACY MAILBOX / CHINA REPRESENTATIVE AND CONTACT].
This Policy applies to the LVXLAW website, accounts, AI assistant, documents, calculators, lawyer-request flows, support, communications, and paid Services. It explains what we collect, why, how long, with whom, where it is processed, and how you can exercise your rights.
We may process: account identifiers and contact details; login and security records; prompts, chat history, uploaded documents and metadata; lawyer-request facts and communications; billing and transaction records (payment card data is handled by the payment provider unless expressly stated); device, browser, IP, approximate location, cookies and analytics; support communications; consent and preference records.
Legal matters, identity documents, financial-account information, health information, precise location, family matters, employment disputes, biometric information, and information about a child under 14 may be sensitive under applicable law. Do not upload sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request and you are authorized to provide it. Where required, we will provide a separate notice and obtain separate consent before processing sensitive information.
We process information to create and secure accounts; provide AI and document workflows; calculate results; respond to requests; connect users to lawyers or partners; process payments; prevent abuse; maintain security; improve the Services; comply with law; and send marketing where you have consented or another lawful basis applies. We will not collect more than reasonably necessary for the stated purpose. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent through the stated method.
Prompts and documents may be processed by [LIST EACH AI PROVIDER, ENTITY, COUNTRY, PURPOSE, AND WHETHER DATA IS USED FOR TRAINING]. Unless expressly stated and separately agreed, LVXLAW will not use identifiable User Content to train a public model.
We may disclose information to processors that provide hosting, storage, AI inference, authentication, email, analytics, customer support, payment, security, and lawyer-referral services. We will publish a verified, sanitized vendor disclosure at [PUBLIC VENDOR TABLE LINK] showing only the recipient/service category, entity and country where required, data categories, purpose, retention level, and transfer safeguard. The complete processor/vendor register—including internal owners, system identifiers, detailed security configuration, exact log paths, private contact details, and non-public infrastructure information—is kept internally and is not published. Processors must be contractually limited to the agreed purposes and security measures.
If personal information collected in China is provided outside China, we will identify the overseas recipient, purpose, categories, method, and rights process, and obtain separate consent where required. We will use the legally applicable mechanism, which may include a CAC security assessment, personal information protection certification, or the CAC standard contract, and will complete any required impact assessment, filing, or security measures before transfer.
We retain information only for the minimum period necessary for the stated purpose or as required by law. Retention schedule: account data while active and [X] days after closure; chat and uploads [X] days unless the user deletes sooner; security logs [X] months; billing and tax records [X] years; support tickets [X] months; consent records for the period needed to demonstrate compliance. Deletion must propagate to backups and processors according to the documented schedule.
Subject to applicable law, individuals may request information about processing, access/copy, correction, deletion, restriction or refusal, withdrawal of consent, explanation of processing rules, and transfer where legally required. Submit a request through the Data Rights Request form or to info@lvxlaw.com with the account email, request type, and any verification needed to protect the account. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any lawful refusal.
The Services are not directed to children under 14. We do not knowingly process a child’s personal information without the required guardian consent and special rules. If we learn that such information was collected improperly, contact info@lvxlaw.com for deletion.
We use access controls, encryption in transit, appropriate encryption or de-identification at rest, least-privilege access, logging, backups, vendor controls, employee training, and an incident-response plan. If a personal-information incident occurs, we will take remedial action and notify the relevant individuals and authorities as required by law.
AI assistance does not make a final legal, employment, credit, insurance, or other high-impact decision for you. If automated processing has a significant effect, you may request an explanation and human review where required. Marketing messages include a clear opt-out and are not required to use the core Services.
We use strictly necessary cookies for security and operation. Optional analytics, advertising, and personalization cookies are activated only according to the consent choices required by applicable law. The Cookie Settings control must allow users to withdraw optional consent without losing access to core functionality.
We may update this Policy when our processing, vendors, or legal obligations change. We will publish the new version, date, and material-change notice. Where a new purpose or category requires new consent, we will request it before processing.
These terms and policies are subject to ongoing development and improvement, so beneficiaries should review them periodically.
We may modify the privacy policy and make changes at any time, and when this happens, we will publish the latest update on the LVXLAW app. Your continued use of our services and not canceling your personal account will be considered acceptance of the privacy policy as updated.
