LVXLAW is a LegalTech company, not a law firm, and does not provide individual legal advice or legal representation before courts. Its role is limited to offering general legal information and connecting users with independent, licensed attorneys.
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of LVXLAW, including our website, AI assistant, legal and business information tools, document workflows, calculators, account features, paid plans, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account, clicking “I agree,” purchasing a plan, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
LVXLAW is operated by [FULL LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered in [JURISDICTION], with registered address [ADDRESS]. General and legal contact: info@lvxlaw.com. “LVXLAW,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that entity and its authorized service providers.
LVXLAW supports legal research, document review and working drafts involving Chinese law and related cross-border matters, including suppliers, employment, trade and customs, corporate and commercial matters, disputes, and personal or family matters. Available assistance depends on supported tools and the task. Any separate professional service requires its own agreed scope.
The Services provide information, issue-spotting, organization, workflows, and AI-generated assistance. Unless we expressly confirm a separate engagement in writing, LVXLAW is not your law firm, lawyer, legal representative, tax adviser, investment adviser, customs broker, or government authority. The Services do not create an attorney-client relationship, legal privilege, or confidentiality equivalent to a lawyer-client relationship, and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer licensed for the relevant jurisdiction. Do not submit trade secrets or highly confidential material unless you are authorized and have accepted the applicable risk.
AI outputs may be incomplete, incorrect, outdated, or unsuitable for your facts. You must independently verify important information and obtain professional advice before acting. Do not rely on an AI output as the sole basis for a filing, payment, investment, employment action, litigation step, immigration decision, or other high-impact decision. Where a lawyer referral is offered, the lawyer is an independent professional and any engagement is between you and that lawyer.
You must provide accurate information, be legally able to enter these Terms, and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and must notify us promptly of unauthorized access. We may require verification to protect the account or comply with law.
You retain ownership of documents, prompts, facts, and other content you submit (“User Content”). You grant LVXLAW a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, transmit, display, and use User Content only as necessary to provide, secure, improve, and support the Services, subject to the Privacy Policy and any choices you make. Do not upload information you are not authorized to share.
You must not use the Services to violate law, infringe rights, upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the system, abuse credits, submit another person’s personal information without authority, generate fraud or deception, evade sanctions or export controls, or make high-impact decisions about another person solely through automated output.
Prices, included credits, usage limits, taxes, trial terms, renewal terms, and features are shown at checkout or on the applicable plan page. Paid subscriptions renew only as disclosed at checkout. You authorize our payment provider, currently [PAYMENT PROVIDER], to charge the selected payment method. Credits are not cash, are not transferable, and expire only as stated at purchase. We may change prices prospectively with reasonable notice.
You may cancel a recurring plan through [ACCOUNT BILLING PATH] or by contacting support@lvxlaw.com. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal while leaving access until the paid period ends, unless the checkout page states otherwise. Refunds are handled under [REFUND POLICY LINK] and applicable law. Nothing in this section limits non-waivable consumer rights.
The Services may use third-party hosting, AI, analytics, email, authentication, payment, storage, and communication providers. Their services may have separate terms and privacy notices. We remain responsible for selecting and supervising processors to the extent required by applicable law, but cannot guarantee the availability or acts of an independent third party.
The Services, software, branding, layouts, databases, and original materials are owned by LVXLAW or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-transferable right to use them for your internal lawful purposes while your account is active. You may not copy, resell, scrape, or create a competing service from them.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services for maintenance, security, legal, or product reasons. We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice of material changes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available operation.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay, misuse the Services, or where required by law. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that should survive termination, including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, limitations, privacy, and dispute terms, will survive.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. We disclaim warranties that information will be complete, current, accurate, fit for a particular legal outcome, or uninterrupted. Mandatory statutory rights are not excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LVXLAW will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to the Services will not exceed the fees you paid to us for the relevant Services during the [3/12] months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [INSERT AGREED JURISDICTION], without prejudice to mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. Disputes will be submitted to [INSERT COURT/ARBITRATION VENUE].
Questions about these Terms: info@lvxlaw.com. Privacy and data-rights requests: info@lvxlaw.com. Billing: support@lvxlaw.com. Security reports: security@lvxlaw.com. Last updated: [DATE]. Version: [VERSION].
If a business customer submits personal information through the Services, LVXLAW and that customer must document their roles for the relevant processing based on the actual facts. Where LVXLAW acts as a processor or service provider, an enterprise Data Processing Addendum must cover instructions, security, subprocessors, incidents, rights support, deletion, audit cooperation, and cross-border transfers before the relevant processing begins. Enterprise customers remain responsible for their own lawful basis, notices, and instructions.
The English release is the source text for this launch. Before a Chinese or other-language version is published, PRC counsel must review the translation and the site must state which version controls for the relevant user or jurisdiction. Material changes must trigger the notice and, where required, renewed consent workflow.
The Services are not monitored for emergencies, active legal deadlines, service of process, or urgent safety issues. Do not use the Services as your only response to an emergency or deadline; contact emergency services, the relevant authority, or qualified counsel.
You agree that we may provide notices, receipts, policy updates, and other records electronically through the Services or the contact details on your account. Keep your email and account information current and retain copies of important records. This clause does not remove any legally required delivery method.
If you send suggestions, ideas, or product feedback, you grant LVXLAW a worldwide, royalty-free right to use and incorporate it to operate or improve the Services without identifying you or disclosing your User Content. Do not include confidential or personal information in feedback.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify LVXLAW and its personnel against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Services, unauthorized User Content, or material breach of these Terms. This does not apply to LVXLAW’s fraud, willful misconduct, or liability that cannot legally be excluded, subject to applicable consumer-law limits.
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages, telecommunications failures, cyber incidents, natural disasters, war, government action, labor disruption, or failures of independent providers. We will use reasonable efforts to restore affected Services.
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be narrowed or removed only to the extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms in connection with a lawful reorganization or transfer of the Services; you may not assign them without consent. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the terms expressly incorporated at checkout are the agreement about the Services, subject to mandatory law.
